CLAT 2014: Results expected on May 31 by 11:59 PM

























he results for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) held on Saturday, i.e May 11 at 21 centers, is expected on the last day of this month i.e May 31 by 11:59 PM
CLAT is organised by Gujarat National Law University and conducted for admissions to India's premier law institutes, including the National Law Institutes, in undergraduate (LL.B) and postgraduate (LL.M) courses.
Around 35, 000 aspirants were expected to sit for the examination this year for a total of 16, 000 seats at different law institutes all across the country.  Tamil Nadu National Law School has been provisionally included for CLAT-2014.
After the declaration of the results, the counselling period for first 2500 candidates is expected to commence the day after i.e June 01 and end along with fee deposit at CLAT offices is June 09 by 4 PM. The counseling fee for admission to UG courses is Rs 1,00,000 and for admission to PG courses is Rs 65,000.
There shall be a centralised admission process for CLAT-2014 on the basis of merit-cum-preference by the organising university,
Provisional Allotment List/Waiting List will be prepared only on the basis of the counselling session undertaken by the candidates and the details filled-in by the candidates in the Online Application Form.
When a candidate's name appears in the Provisional Allotment List, the candidate will have to confirm his/her intention/seriousness to take admission or to be considered against the future vacancies, if any, with the CLAT Office through the CLAT website
